UPDATE: Palladium Hotel Group incorporated the property known as AlSol Tiara Collection Cap Cana and renamed it TRS Cap Cana Waterfront & Marina Hotel.
Hotel Boutique Dalan and AlSol Hotels & Resorts opened their AlSol Tiara Collection Cap Cana hotel, the newest member of the AlSol Hotels & Resorts chain. The opening ceremony was attended by Danilo Medina, President of the Dominican Republic.
Francisco Martínez spoke on behalf of the Dalan Boutique Hotel and AlSol Hotels & Resorts. The Spanish businessman is known for heading one of the largest meat industries in Spain. Martínez also owns the Sanctuary Cap Cana and the AlSol Tiara Collection hotels.
The businessman stated that he believes in the Dominican Republic. He commited to continue his investments until they exceed 120 million dollars and reach the figure of a thousand employees, which fills him with pride. He also thanked the government officials who were present at the event.
Abraham Hazoury, Grupo Abrisa president, also spoke at the event. He expressed that Cap Cana has developed more than 3,800 hotel and real estate rooms in the last ten years. Engineer Hazoury reiterated his confidence in the future of the Dominican Republic and in the country’s investment climate. He also expressed his faith in the commitment to continue promoting growth, the generation of wealth and sources of employment in the Dominican Republic.

AlSol Tiara Collection Cap Cana, a seafront property, began operations on June 1, 2015. The first guests included international personalities from the artistic field who attended the Heat Latin Music Awards. Opening Event
Among those attending the activity were Benny Guevara, president of AlSol Hotels & Resorts; Álvaro Peña, president of the Codelpa Group; Borja Leria, president of the Hotel AlSol Tiara Collection Cap Cana: Francisco Javier García, minister of tourism of the Dominican Republic; Gonzalo Castillo, minister of public works of the country; José Ramón Peralta, administrative minister of the Dominican Presidency; Abraham Hazoury Toral, member of the Cap Cana board of directors; and Ricardo Hazoury, president of the Cap Cana board of directors, among other distinguished personalities from the Dominican political, economic and social sphere.
Bishop Gregorio Nicanor Peña blessed the hotel. President Medina performed the traditional ribbon cutting at the end of the opening ceremony.
