Description
What are Disney Dining Plans?
They are prepaid plans that allow you to enjoy meals and snacks at more than 200 restaurants within the Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort. Each plan offers a specific number of meals and snacks per night of stay.
Who’s eligible for a dining plan?
Only guests of official Disney Resort hotels can purchase them. They aren’t available for Disney Good Neighbor Hotel guests.
How do I order a Disney Dining Plan?
You can add a dining plan when booking your Disney vacation package with an official Disney Resort Collection hotel.
If you have an existing reservation, you can add it through the My Plans section of either Disney Parks mobile app, My Disney Experience or Disneyland Mobile App.
What’s included in all dining plans?
For each night of your stay, the Disney Dining Plan includes two restaurant meals and a snack (ice cream, cookies, dessert, popcorn, etc.) or non-alcoholic beverage during the day.
As part of the plan, you receive a collectible 16 oz. tumbler that you can refill with soda as often as you like.
How do I use my dining plan?
Just pick a restaurant or concession stand and present your Disney Resort ID linked to the Disney account with your travel reservation.
Disney IDs include your Disney MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass from your park app, or Key to the World card you receive at the ticket office.
The cashier or server will deduct the credits corresponding to your meal from your available plan credits.

Restaurants
Which Disney restaurants accept dining plans?
You can find updated lists of participating restaurants below.
Each list specifies how many plan credits you need at each restaurant. (See Credits.)
Do I need a reservation to visit a restaurant with my dining plan?
Quick-service restaurants do not require reservations, and you can visit a table-service restaurant based on availability.
However, due to demand, we recommend making reservations at table-service restaurants well in advance.
You can book your table starting sixty (60) days prior to your arrival at Disney Parks using your Disney Parks mobile app, either My Disney Experience or Disneyland Mobile App.
Can I order my food before arriving at the restaurant?
Quick-service restaurants allow you to order your food in advance using your park mobile app (My Disney Experience or Disneyland Mobile App).
Which snacks can I order with my dining plan?

The snacks and beverages that can be ordered with your daily Snack credit are identified on each concession stand menu with the official Disney Dining Plan icon.
Does my Disney Dining Plan include alcoholic beverages during my meal?
Depends on the restaurant. Ask your cashier or server.
Every meal under the plan includes one beverage. Certain restaurants allow those 21 and older to upgrade their beverage to an alcoholic beverage such as wine, beer, and certain cocktails.

Plans and Pricing
How many Disney Dining Plans are available and what are their differences?
Disney Resorts in the United States have two dining plan options: the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan and the Disney Dining Plan. These vary in the type of restaurants you can access.
- The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan offers two meals per day at most Quick-Service restaurants, or those where you place your order and pick up your order at the cashier.
- On the other hand, the standard Disney Dining Plan includes one meal a day at most Quick-Service restaurants and another at many table-service restaurants that require reservations.
Both plans have a more affordable children’s option for children ages 3-9. Children under 9 can only order from the children’s menu.
You can even use your Disney Dining Plan table-service meals at restaurants that include experiences where Disney characters visit your table.
How much do Disney Dining Plans cost?
The current prices for each plan are as follows:
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan (per hotel night)
- Adults: $59.14 USD
- Children ages 3-9: $24.71 USD
Standard Disney Dining Plan (per hotel night)
- Adults: $97.79 USD
- Children ages 3-9: $30.56 USD
Are tips/gratuities included in the dining plan price?
No, Disney Dining Plans pricing does not include service gratuities.
Can I request a Disney Dining Plan for only certain days or select guests in my travel party?
Disney Dining Plans cannot be requested for specific days or for some guests within a hotel reservation.
If someone in the group requests a dining plan, Disney requires everyone in the group to be enrolled in the same dining plan for their entire stay.
A Disney Dining Plan can be purchased days after arrival at the hotel. However, the cost of the days prior to ordering the plan will not be deducted from the final price.
Can I get a Disney Dining Plan for free?
Disney occasionally offers free Disney Dining Plans for a limited time, as part of select Disney vacation package deals, Disney Visa cardmember benefits, or Disney+ Perks promos aimed at Disney+ streaming subscribers.
For a limited time, you can get a free Disney Dining Plan with your non-discounted Disney vacation package with a minimum four-night stay at a Disney Resort hotel in Orlando plus four-day Park Hopper tickets. Reservations at Value or Moderate hotels will include a Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, while those staying at Deluxe hotels will receive a standard Disney Dining Plan.
This dining plan deal is available for most bookings between July 29 and September 30, October 20 and November 1, or December 6 and 22, 2025.
Also, if you book a Disney vacation package for 2026 with an official Disney Resort hotel, your children ages 3 to 9 will receive a free Disney Dining Plan, as long as all adults on the reservation also get one.
Ask your certified Disney travel consultant about current free dining plan offers when booking.

Credits
How do Disney Dining Plan credits work?
Disney Dining Plans actually operate on a credit system.
Each guest with a Disney Dining Plan receives per day:
- One Quick-Service Dining credit for quick-service meals.
- One Snack credit, equivalent to a snack or non-alcoholic beverage.
- One additional Quick-Service Dining credit if you are on the most economical plan, or one Table Service Dining credit for table-service restaurants if you are on the most expensive plan.
However, some table-service restaurants require two (2) Table Service credits instead of just one (1) credit.
Where can I see my remaining Disney Dining Plan meals or credits?
You can monitor your spending in the My Dining Plan section of your Disney Parks mobile app (My Disney Experience or Disneyland Mobile App).
Can I combine my Disney Dining Plan credits?
Different-category Dining Plan credits aren’o’t interchangeable. Quick-Service credits cannot be converted them into Table Service credits.
You get all the credits for your selected plan from the moment your Disney Resort vacation starts. Thus you can use them at any time during your visit, including outside the parks at official hotel restaurants, Disney Springs, or Downtown Disney.
This allows you to spend two Table Service credits at a more upscale restaurant or even visit more than two Quick-Service locations on the same day.
Of course, using an additional credit means it won’t be available on another day and you’ll have to pay for your meal.
Can I transfer my unused Disney Dining credits to someone else in my travel group?
No, your Disney Dining Plan credits are non-transferable.
Can I use my remaining Disney Dining Plan credits on a future visit?
No, your unused credits expire at midnight on your Disney Resort checkout date.

Resort-Refillable Drink Mug
When do I get my Disney Dining Plan resort-refillable drink mug?
You can request it upon arrival at your Disney Resort hotel shop.
Select the cup you want and tell the cashier you have a Disney Dining Plan.
Where can I refill my mug?
You can refill your Disney Dining Plan mug with soda as many times as you like at the self-service beverage refill stations within your hotel.
Additionally, you can refill it with drinking water at restaurants and water bottle refill stations throughout the Disney parks.
Do I have to return my refillable drink mug at the end of my stay?
No, this collectible cup is yours to take home.
Can I reuse my resort-refillable drink mug on another trip?
You can bring your drink mug on future Disney visits, but it won’t work at the self-service beverage refill stations. To do this, you’ll need to purchase another resort-refillable drink mug or request a Disney Dining Plan for your next visit.

Perks
Do I need a Disney Dining Plan for my trip?
The Disney Dining Plan is an extra benefit you can order for your vacation plan, but you can consume food in the parks and hotels without having to purchase it.
All businesses around Disney accept cash or credit cards. You can even pay with digital payment methods like Apple Pay or MagicBand using the card registered to your Disney account.
For the refillable mug, you can purchase it at your Disney Resort store without needing a dining plan.
If you plan to leave the Disney bubble to have lunch or dinner outside of your hotel, being tied to a Disney Dining Plan may not be a good fit for you.
Why should I purchase a Disney Dining Plan?
A Disney Dining Plan may be the best dining option during your visit to Disney if you or your group meet these conditions.
If You Have a Fixed Food Budget
Paying for most of your meals in advance lessens your worry about how much you’ll spend on food during your trip.
For the Free Beverages
Your refillable mug allows you to drink all the water, coffee, and soda you want during your visit, but you can only refill it inside your hotel.
If You Enjoy Buffets
Buffet-service restaurants like Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are excellent for getting the most bang for your dining plan buck.
If You Order Expensive Food
Disney calibrates its dining plan prices based on the average cost of the most expensive items at its restaurants.
Choose the standard Disney Dining Plan, order the most expensive items at table-service restaurants (especially those that cost a credit), and you’ll pay less with the plan than if you had paid for the meal.
