If you are an adventurous yet super cautious tourist, we have the mobile App for you. Argentina, as in other countries, just launched “Argentina Natural”, a mobile app to help you improve your experience in the country’s protected areas.

The Ministry of Tourism of the Argentine Nation, the National Parks Administration and Aves Argentinas launched this mobile application as part of their initiatives to boost domestic tourism. The app allows its users to get information of interest about Argentina’s National Parks in real time.

Argentina Natural App Details

This application was developed so that visitors can consult geo-referenced maps and information on infrastructure, roads and public paths from their smartphone. In addition, it offers details on admission prices, services and facilities offered by each park, hiking recommendations and much more.

The information contained within the app covers more than 40 national protected areas in Argentina, with more to be added soon at the provincial and private levels.

Other information of interest offered by this application are about which tourist guides to hire or activities to try in each of the parks, such as nautical or land excursions. In this regard, the application shows several categories of activities, among which you can choose:

  • Canoeing.
  • Climbing.
  • Kayaking.
  • Cycling.
  • Horseback riding.
  • Rafting.
  • Hiking.
  • Trekking.
  • Tourist services.

Argentine Flora and Fauna

Argentina Natural also offers its users more than 100 records on the most emblematic species of flora and fauna inhabiting the parks. For example, in the case of trees, it provides details such as size, information on their origin and to which category they belong. Whereas for animals, it shows information about origin, shape and color so that they can be visually identified.

This application complements the experience of visiting a National Park with adequate information, and invites you to explore these protected areas that extend throughout the entire Argentine territory.
