Oruro Carnival

The Oruro Carnival, one of the most important carnival celebrations in the world, gathers thousands of people for a great show of popular Andean traditions.

This celebration features 48 folk groups that make a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Socavon while they dance traditional rhythms such as the diablada, the morenada and the caporales.
